People, sometimes ask me; Why photography? why do you like shooting weddings? how do you have time to take photos while holding down a full time job?
and I always give the same answer in the same manner.. I look at them with a smile, and I shrug my shoulders and say, "I love it, I find joy in it."
Just like with any passion or hobby, I have days where I question myself and if this is something I want to do for the rest of my life - but In my heart I know that I appreciate art. I grew up around it and for me, I don't think I've reached my potential and have created enough to satisfy my cravings. So that's why.
I love photography, I like getting to know people's stories and having the opportunities to freeze moments in time in order for them to remember these days in their lives fills me with happiness.
If you believe in something, if you are good at something - do yourself a solid and pursue it. I believe failure is only a result of not trying. If you never try you'll never know. If you try and fail, find a lesson in your short comings and grow from it. Time is really short, and I want to make sure I can look back at my life when the time comes and be able to tell myself that I do all that I wanted to do.
